Jaguar celebrates treble win with €3k discount

To celebrate the Jaguar I-Pace historic treble win at the 2019 World Car Awards, Jaguar has announced the introduction of a unique celebratory offer exclusively for the 192 registration period, writes Trish Whelan. For three months, customers can enjoy a €3,000 discount across the Jaguar range in celebration of Jaguar’s huge win.

The all-electric Jaguar I-PACE is the first model ever to win three World Car titles in the 15-year history of the awards: the 2019 World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year titles, it has also been named World Green Car.

The I-PACE completes the brand’s trio of SUVs, the PACE family, comprising the F-PACE performance crossover (the fastest-selling Jaguar ever), the new E-PACE compact performance SUV and now I-PACE. The Jaguar family also includes the award-winning XE, XF and XJ saloons and the dramatic F-TYPE sports car.

Each model comes with Jaguar’s 3-year warranty, 3-year roadside assistance and a Free 3 Year Service Plan. Now, in addition, all new Jaguars will also benefit from a €3,000 discount available for a 3-month summer celebration ending on 31 August 2019.

Peugeot reveal new 508 SW pricing and spec

The new Peugeot 508 SW will retail here from €34,110 plus delivery related charges for the Active 1.5 BlueHDI diesel 130bhp 6-speed manual version, writes Trish Whelan . Order books are now open and deliveries to first customers here in Ireland will begin from 1 July onwards. The new 508 SW which competes in the D-segment estate sector, has the same sharp front design as the 508 fastback and adds a low-slung, svelte estate bodyline. Irish Van of the Year 2019 Category Winners

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Business and Mercedes Benz X-Class have been named Category Winners of the Irish Van of the Year 2019 in association with Continental Tyres. The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Business took the Irish Commercial SUV of the Year award while the Mercedes-Benz X-Class won the Irish Pick Up of the Year award. The Irish Van of the Year awards are voted upon by a jury of Ireland’s most experienced light commercial vehicle journalists.
